Little Mama

Slow down and connect with yourself and a personal intention through the relaxing, creative process of making a Little Mama clay totem.
Workshop Date: – Saturday, Apr 6, 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Notes – The Little Mama is inspired by my favorite piece of ancient art, the Woman of Willendorf, thought to be nearly 30,000 years old. She is a 4 inch tall, faceless, charmingly rotund little lady statuette who art historians believe was originally created as a fertility figure, good-luck totem, or representation of the Mother goddess.
In this workshop, you'll be guided to set a personal intention that you would like to “birth” into your life while making your own Little Mama in easy-to-use air dry clay. During the making session you will be encouraged to learn a new skill, to “trust the process” of creating with curiosity and presence. At the end of the workshop you will have your own personal Little Mama to take home as a totem, or representation of your intention, of what you want to cultivate or bring forth in yourself.
Location – The workshop room is in the lower level of Symphony Knoll at 15 Mt Airy Rd South, Croton on Hudson. It's wheelchair accessible, and has a full kitchen and restrooms.
